Audiomind recording studio with keyboard workstation, monitors, microphones, instruments, and recording equipment

Recording and production studio

Audiomind, Incorporated

A long-running Philadelphia music room for recording, arranging, production, mixing, mastering, and the kind of work that happens when the studio becomes part of the instrument.

Then... Commercial recording, production, mixing, and mastering for bands, songwriters, artists, and more.

Now... A private studio for Adam Goldman projects and selected collaborations.

The Room

A working music space

Audiomind, Incorporated is a long-lived creative workspace: keyboards, drums, guitars, microphones, outboard gear, software instruments, monitors, and years of recordings all living in the same room.

The studio has been rebuilt and reconfigured many, many times over the years as the work has changed. These days it is used primarily for Adam Goldman's own music and for outside or collaborative projects.

Many, many instruments, both acoustic and electronic, as well as virtual instrument libraries; a number of industry standard microphones; a workhorse computer; multiple displays that allow the work to be faster and easier; and of course, the most valuable components are good ears, a lot of experience, and the know-how to create high quality, professional results.

History

Audio productions since the 1980s

Wide view of Audiomind studio with keyboard workstation, monitors, microphones, and instruments

Incorporated in the 1990s, Audiomind has actually been around since the 1980s. For many years, the studio was Adam Goldman's primary work, working for bands, artists, and songwriters, ranging from tracking through final mixing and mastering. Sometimes Adam's work included writing or performing various parts, engineering, or producing, whatever the project required for completion.

Philadelphia has always been an extremely musical city, with a long history and a huge array of styles and genres always actively ongoing, and Adam has been fortunate to be involved in projects that have ranged from classical music to jazz, rock to folk, and everything in between...and also many audio projects that did not involve music at all, but voiceover work, audio cleanup and restoration, and field recording.

Over time, commercial studio work was reduced drastically. The room continued, but the emphasis shifted toward Adam's own music and a smaller number of selected projects for other people.

Today, Audiomind, Incorporated is still actively producing work, but the focus has changed. It's now more of a personal studio with a long history and a continuing body of music and other audio work.
